Sofapaka has re – signed goalkeeper George Opiyo from Tusker after successful talks to secure his return.
The goalkeeper left for Tusker after the 2011 season and while at the team he managed to get a number of chances under coach Robert Matano and earlier on under Sammy Omollo.
He has signed a two year deal with Sofapaka and will add to the experienced department that already has captain Duncan Ochieng, David Okello and Victor Ligingo.
Meanwhile, the team is set to resume training on Wednesday 8th with the coach expected back today (Tuesday 7th).
