Sofapaka U19 striker Juma Noor will not be sent on loan as earlier thought, club secretary general Emmanuel Kayoyi has revealed.
The striker, who featured for the club and largely impressed in the 2013 U19 tournament has been registered for the team and will be part of the senior squad for the 2014 season.
The secretary general pointed out that the coaching staff felt the player has what it takes to play a role in the team’s 2014 season and thought a loan move could stagnate his progress.
“Noor will be part of the senior team in 2014 and we have already registered him with the KPL officially so he is no longer leaving on loan.
“The coaches felt taking him on loan would not be the best thing for his development so we opted to have him learn from the senior squad right in the team”, he said.
He as well confirmed that the International Transfer Certificates (ITC) for Haevenar Maloba and Anthony Ndolo have been received while Fiston Razak and Celestine Habonimana’s will be completed in the coming few days.
“As for Ndolo and Maloba, all is done; their ITCs are in while Fiston and Celestine’s will be completed in a few days”, he added.
